What is car subscription?

Car subscription gives you the ability to subscribe to a specific car on a month to month basis without long-term commitment. It is all inclusive service - with maintenance, car service insurance and delivery - with the ability to downgrade and upgrade as needed.

What is Invygo?

Invygo is an in-app car subscription service for people to choose, drive and switch cars without the headaches of owning or renting a car.

Invygo believes in giving you 100% flexibility while also making sure you are 100% covered.

How is car subscription different from renting, owning or leasing?

It’s quite different. Here is how car subscription compares to each of the traditional car options out there.

  • Renting: Car rentals are a short term solution that can look great on paper but usually include a security deposit and a car that may not be the one you chose. While there are a few good rental companies out there, none have eliminated deposits or guarantee the same car. Did we mention that we do?
  • Leasing: Car leasing are fixed-term contracts that lock you in for a longer period of time than a rental. While leasing may be a great fit for someone who knows what they will be driving in 36 months, for the many mortals who don’t know what they will be doing next month, this level of commitment is way too serious of a relationship. *Cough*no contracts with us *cough*.
  • Owning: Owning a car is the ultimate marriage between a person and a car. While it may be a great fit for some people, if you’re like us being stuck with the same car for 5 years is not something I’d prefer since there are way too many options out there. Shameless plug: Invygo lets you switch or upgrade cars any time you want to.
Minimum duration of subscription

With Invygo the minimum duration you can subscribe is a month and there is no maximum! We keep our minimum at our month to ensure you get the full service of having a car without paying a deposit for it.

Are the prices in the app the final price?

The price you see in the app includes VAT and all fees associated with having a car. The only fees you will pay separate to this is Salik, gas and any traffic charges you may get. Here’s what’s included in the fee:

Is there a deposit?

We don’t take any deposit. You only pay a monthly fee for your car subscription.

Are payments secure on the app?

We're PCI compliant - Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard - which is an independent and a global gold standard for secure card payments. This is the highest standard for ecommerce payment.

Can I pay using debit card?

We do accept debit cards. Reach out to us via chat or email if you are facing issues of any kind when using a debit card.

What is the range of monthly subscription fees?

Our range of cars range from affordable to premium cars. Our monthly subscription fees start at AED 1375 per month. This fee includes your car insurance, routine maintenance, warranty and any roadside assistance you may need.

How does Salik work?

There’s no need to worry about Salik & Toll Gates when you subscribe – the salik sticker in your car is already topped up!

When do you charge Salik?

Salik usually gets charged at the start of every month to the card we have on file.

How do I know when my Salik sticker was used?

We will send all the details / invoice and Salik charges to your email. Make sure to keep an eye out for and check your junk if you don't see it in your inbox.

How do you charge fines?

Hopefully you will never get a fine, but if you do, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

You can check if you have received a fine directly on the RTA website – simply search for fines using the license plate of the car.

How do I pay for a fine?

We will automatically charge the card we have on file. Keep an eye on your registered email. Make sure to check your junk and label as a safe sender as well. We will send you the invoice and all details as soon as we charge you.

How often do you charge fines?

As soon as the police upload the fines and charge us, we will charge you 😉.

What documents are required?

To book a car, we require valid Emirates ID, UAE driver's license and a bank card for payment - credit or debit.

What are your Terms & Conditions?

What conditions do you have for a new driver?

You can book a car as a new driver, but in the event of an accident you will be required to pay 10% of the damages and the full excess liability fee.

You cannot upgrade to full-insurance unless you meet the following conditions to add full insurance:

AGE: Min 25+ years
UAE LICENSE: 12+ months
FOR UAE LICENSE UNDER 12 MONTHS: holding license for 2+ year in home country

Do you charge for delivery?

Delivery and pickup is free for all locations except Al Ain and Fujeirah. For pickup and delivery we charge AED 320 for Al Ain and AED 430 for Fujeirah.

What if I have car issues?

We have a 24/7 emergency service number that you can contact right through the app for your booking. All routine service and maintenance are included in the monthly fee so we got you covered.

How do I renew my contract?

In case you wish to continue with the car, you need not do anything as the contract auto renews every month.

How do I return my car?

To schedule your return, you need to go to the bookings tab on the app (looks like a calendar icon at the bottom) and you should be able to select return details very easily.

Pro tip - do make sure to fuel up the car tank to the same level at which you received to avoid any unnecessary charges!

Can I switch cars? How do I do this?

Yes, you can switch cars. You will have to return your current car and place a new booking for the car you wish to book next.

Pro tip - to ensure a smooth transition between cars, we recommend you schedule the return date & time of your current car to be the same as the delivery date & time of the next car you wish to book.

What kind of insurance is available?

You can get full insurance for an extra fee that covers everything - even if it is your fault - as long as you have the police report. The price is 160-300aed/month depending on the car booked.

You cannot upgrade to full-insurance unless you meet the following conditions to add full insurance:

AGE: Min 23+ years
UAE LICENSE: 6+ months
FOR UAE LICENSE UNDER 6 MONTHS: holding license for 2+ year in home country

Do you have standard insurance?

All cars come with standard insurance. This covers everything that isn't your fault with a police report. If an accident happens that is your fault, you will pay a 940-1800aed excess liability fee - depending on the car booked.

What are the cars available?

At the moment we have over 37 models and counting available in our app. We’re focused on growing our fleet in size and variety to make sure there is a car that fits everyone. If you have a specific model you would like us to add, let us know!

Pro tip: always have the app updated to the latest version to see the latest cars available and offers - our cars are updated daily based on dealer availability.

What about the quality of cars?

All our cars come from authorized dealerships ensuring that you get cars that are the best in quality and maintenance.

How much mileage do I get with my subscription?

Our cars come with a standard of 2500km included in the monthly fee. However, you do have the option to increase up to 4500km. It costs between AED 150-400aed for the extra mileage depending on the make of car.

What about additional drivers?

Additional drivers can be added to the booking. There is an additional payment per month for every additional driver. It's AED 150 per month which covers the cost of insuring each additional driver.
